Biography
Purnima Mitra born in Bangladesh. Her works reflect the complex issues that shape diverse, global, and rapidly changing society. She endeavors different ways of experimenting her art technique with technology such as 3d modeling and sculpting, 3d scanning and reconstruction, augmented & mixed reality, r & d, etc. She earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Dhaka in 2010 and She qualified for Asian Art Major Scholarship (AMA) 2012 conducted by Korean Government for MFA. The exposure she gained from different Cultures and Ethnicities is reflected by her Creations. She uses her creativity to bridge between art and technology, where the audience will be able to interact directly. She has held several exhibitions in Bangladesh, Japan, Indonesia, South Korea etc. In 2012, she has won the runners-up award in Young painters exhibition, organized by Berger paints Bangladesh limited.
